Fall quarter has come to a close. Hopefully everyone did well on their finals, turned in their homework on time, et cetera et cetera. And if you didn’t, well, just look at it as a reality check and do your best next quarter!
This month is an opportunity to catch up on all that writing you wanted to do during the quarter, but you had to write a paper instead. Try to write at least a little bit every day…it will be worth it! And we don’t want to spend our entire breaks just sitting on the couch watching TV….I know that’s what I always end up doing and all I get out of the break is a vast knowledge of some random show. Which isn’t very useful if you think about it.
So write something! Here is a prompt, for those of you that want to use it:
Write a story where the main character is missing a limb.
Write a story where the main character has just woken up from a coma that lasted 7 months.
Write a story where the main character is a descendant of a resident of Atlantis.
Write a story of your choice.
If you write something good, email firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will post your story for the club to read! Winter break is gonna be long, and we don’t want to lose touch with all our members!
